Isabel was born in Melbourne, Australia. Her dad is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family lived in Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community in Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and Jabiru in Switzerland. With her sister Nina she went to schools which included First Nations children as well as children from other cultures. Isabel lives in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was engaged in drama from her school days. She studied at the Queensland Institute of Technology, the Victoria College of Arts, and Perdekamp Method Perdekamp. In 2002, she was not ever auditioned. She auditioned to be a character of Home and Away 1988. They felt that she was not right for the part however, they were impressed enough to create a different role for her Tasha. Her first role on television ran for 3 years. She was awarded the Logie Award in the category of new popular talent. Isabel was able to move from Los Angeles. Isabel's breakout role in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in 2009. Since then, she's played in numerous US-based as well as Australian productions. Isabel is playing a lead part for the role of Isabel in Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy which is fast becoming a staple of Australian cinema - and will be appearing in Lunacy the thriller which will be released. Isabel also recently wrapped Sons of Summer and is currently in the process of preparing for the role in the film Marie Curie in Radiant with award-winning writerdirector Annika Glac. Isabel is passionate about the rights of animals and has been involved for many environmental organisations. Isabel was a PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival (HRAFF) for ten years from 2010 until 2020. Known for her ethical eco-conscious interest and dedication to the cause of social justice Isabel has been named the brand's spokesperson as well as the face of a number of clothing and cosmetics brands.
